1. Spain Reports 4 HPAI H5N1 Outbreaks in Wild Birds
On August 25 and 27, Spain reported 4 outbreaks of HPAI H5N1 in wild birds across three locations, including the Autonomous Community of Andalusia. Four wild birds were infected and died.
2. Norway Reports 2 HPAI H5N1 Outbreaks in Wild Birds
On August 26, Norway reported 2 outbreaks of HPAI H5N1 in wild birds in Finnmark County. Two wild birds were infected and died.
3. Bulgaria Reports 3 HPAI H5N1 Outbreaks in Poultry
On August 26, Bulgaria reported 3 outbreaks of HPAI H5N1 in poultry in Plovdiv Province. Sixty poultry were infected.
4. France Reports 1 HPAI H5 Outbreak in Wild Birds
On August 29, France reported 1 outbreak of HPAI H5 in wild birds in the Morbihan department of the Brittany region. Eleven wild birds were infected and died.
