1.  Spain Reports 3 HPAI H5N1 Outbreaks in Wild Birds

    On August 10, Spain reported 3 HPAI H5N1 outbreaks in wild birds across three locations, including the province of Castile and León. Eight wild birds were infected and died.

2.  Cambodia Reports 1 HPAI H5N1 Outbreak in Poultry

    On August 10, Cambodia reported 1 HPAI H5N1 outbreak in poultry in Takeo Province. Five poultry were infected and died, and 281 were culled.

3.  United Kingdom Reports 2 HPAI H5N1 Outbreaks in Poultry

    On August 10 and 12, the UK reported 2 HPAI H5N1 outbreaks in poultry in England. 699 poultry were infected, and 291 died.

4.  Argentina Reports 1 HPAI H5N1 Outbreak in Wild Birds

    On August 10, Argentina reported 1 HPAI H5N1 outbreak in wild birds in Buenos Aires Province. 212 backyard poultry were infected, 146 died, and 305 were culled.

5.  Norway Reports 1 HPAI H5N5 Outbreak in Wild Birds

    On August 13, Norway reported 1 HPAI H5N5 outbreak in wild birds in Finnmark County. One wild bird was infected.

6.  France Reports 2 HPAI H5 Outbreaks in Wild Birds

    On August 14, France reported 2 HPAI H5 outbreaks in wild birds in the Charente-Maritime department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Six wild birds were infected and died.

7.  Portugal Reports 2 HPAI H5N1 Outbreaks in Wild Birds

    On August 14, Portugal reported 2 HPAI H5N1 outbreaks in wild birds in the Aveiro District. Two wild birds were infected and died.

1.  Poland Reports 2 Newcastle Disease Outbreaks

    On August 11 and 12, Poland reported 2 Newcastle disease outbreaks in the Masovian Voivodeship. 77,000 poultry were infected, and 1,670 died.
